What Does a Luxury Corporate Gala Cost in Dallas?

Published venue fees at seven Dallas-area venues, set against a $50,000 budget at 100, 200 and 300 guests.

What does a luxury corporate gala cost in Dallas? Poppy Planning, a Dallas planning and design studio, read the published rate pages of seven Dallas-area venues. Room rental alone runs from $2,995 to $20,000. A $50,000 gala budget covers the room and styling at an average of $100 a guest, and it leaves the rest for food, drink, staffing and production, which no venue page prices for you.

What Do Dallas Venues Charge to Rent a Room for a Gala?

Seven of the 20 venues we read print a rental rate: six in Dallas and one in Irving. None of the three Fort Worth venues in the sample print one. The table gives each venue’s lowest and highest published fee, taken from 28 rates in all, and the largest guest count it prints.

Rental fees each venue prints on its own page, read October 17, 2026 or the day before. Fees are for the room.

Howell and Dragon has the lowest fee, $2,995 for a Sunday to Friday standard package. Nasher Sculpture Center has the highest, $20,000 for the full center with every gallery open after hours. The two sit 6.7 times apart, so the venue you pick moves the budget more than any other single choice on this page.

How Much Does the Room Cost at 100, 200 and 300 Guests?

A venue counts toward a guest band only when its own page prints a guest count at or above the band. All six venues with both a rate and a count hold 100 and 200 guests, so those two rows share the same room costs. At 300 guests four remain: Astoria Event Venue, The Empire Room, Howell and Dragon and The Room on Main. The Mason Dallas and Nasher Sculpture Center print 200 as the largest seated figure, and 2616 Commerce Event Center prints a rate but no guest count, so it sits in the rate table and in no band.

The styling column uses the one per-guest figure a Dallas firm prints. Events D’Lux says its average client invests about $100 per guest, and the left-over columns subtract that and the room fee from $50,000.

Where Do the Published Fees Overlap?

The chart draws each venue’s fee range for the 200-guest band, from its cheapest published day to its most expensive. Howell and Dragon tops out at $4,995, below the lowest fee at Astoria Event Venue, The Mason Dallas and Nasher Sculpture Center.

How Much More Does a Saturday Gala Cost?

Six venues print a weekday and a Saturday fee for the same package, so the gap is a like-for-like comparison.

Weekday and Saturday fee for the same package at each venue that prints both.
VenueWeekday optionWeekday feeSaturday feeDifferencePercent more
Astoria Event VenueMonday to Wednesday$6,500$14,500$8,000123

Saturday costs $1,000 to $8,000 more, a median of $3,000 or 59 percent. In percent the range runs from 18 to 171. A weekday date is the only line in this budget a host can change without changing the guest list, the venue or the design.

What Does a $50,000 Budget Leave for Food, Drink and Production?

At 200 guests with the median room, the fee takes $7,248, or 14 percent of the budget, and styling at $100 a guest takes $20,000. That leaves $22,752, or $114 a guest, for catering, bar, staffing, audio and video, entertainment and a planner. With the most expensive published room, the same event leaves $10,000, or $50 a guest.

At 300 guests the squeeze is tighter. Styling alone is $30,000 at the average rate, and the most expensive of the four rooms that hold 300 is $14,500 (Astoria Event Venue, Saturday). That leaves $5,500, or $18 a guest. Events D’Lux also says its price per guest comes down once a list passes 150, so the 300-guest styling line is likely the ceiling, but the firm prints no discount and we won’t invent one.

No venue page we read prints a food and beverage price per guest. Astoria Event Venue says it has no food and beverage minimums, which tells you what it doesn’t require and not what dinner costs. Ask each caterer for a per-guest quote before you set the styling number.

What Does Gala Styling Include?

At Poppy Planning, a Dallas planning and design studio, styling means whatever guests see after they walk into the rented room. That’s lighting, tables and linens, florals, the stage and backdrop, branded signs and any installation. The room fee doesn’t cover it, and neither do food, bar or staffing.

Events D’Lux, a Dallas design and rental firm, names corporate galas and award events, brand activations, cocktail hour installations and luxury tablescapes. It’s the one firm in our sample that prints a styling price: about $100 per guest on average.

Our own corporate work runs two ways. The Premium Poppy Package covers one event from start to finish, with design, vendors and onsite production. The Poppy Retainer covers up to 8 events a year under one dedicated event manager. Event design is an add-on, which lets a host keep the styling line as small as the budget needs.

What Should a Gala Styling Quote List?

Events D’Lux says every line item on its quote has its own cost, so a host can drop or add pieces. Ask any firm for the same. A quote you can sign names:

  1. Each rented piece, with a quantity and a price.
  2. Design time, shown apart from rentals.
  3. Delivery, setup and teardown.
  4. Linens, which some rooms charge for separately: The Empire Room prints $27 for each table linen and Astoria Event Venue says linens are not included.
  5. Lighting and audio-video, which The Empire Room prints from $750.
  6. Venue charges the room adds: The Mason Dallas lists $350 for cleaning and trash and $450 for security, and 2616 Commerce Event Center lists $400 for security.
  7. Deposit and cancellation terms.

Read the venue’s rules before you collect bids. Three of the seven rooms with a published rate tie you to a named caterer, and The Mason Dallas requires a professional planner.

What Does a Corporate Program Look Like From Our Own Work?

We ran a multi-day program for Galderma at the Beverly Hills Four Seasons under The Poppy Retainer. It had main-stage panels, breakout sessions, product moments, an outdoor hosted dinner and the GAIN 10-year anniversary celebration. Our team handled staging and AV, speaker logistics, branded environments, guest hospitality and the run of show every day.

It was a program, not a gala, and it took place in Los Angeles. We include it because it is the closest first-hand example of branded environments and production in our own work. Our case study does not print a price, and we do not publish one here.

Which Dallas Firms Style Corporate Galas, and What Do They Print?

This is Poppy Planning’s own list, and we’re one of the firms on it, so weigh our placement with that in mind. Of the six firms in our corporate planner guide, only Events D’Lux prints a price, about $100 per guest. It also prints its booking steps: a design consult, a quote with line items, then approval and a contract. We price by written quote once we know the date, guest count and venue. The full comparison sits in the corporate planner guide linked below.

Where Does Styling Fit in the Budget at 200 Guests?

Take 200 guests at $100 each: styling comes to $20,000. Events D’Lux says the per-guest price drops once a list passes 150, but it prints no discount, so the table uses the flat figure.

Where a $50,000 gala budget goes at 200 guests, using the median published room fee and styling at the flat per-guest figure.
Line at 200 guestsAmount
Gala budget$50,000
Median published room fee$7,248
Styling at $100 a guest$20,000
Left for food, drink, staffing and production$22,752

So $114 a guest is left for everything else. Swap in the priciest published room, Nasher Sculpture Center at $20,000, and $10,000 remains, or $50 a guest. Swap in the cheapest, Howell and Dragon at $2,995, and $27,005 remains, or $135 a guest. No venue page prints a food price, so get a per-guest quote from each caterer before you fix the styling number.

What Fees and Rules Come With the Room?

The published fees above are the room. Six venues print extra charges or rules that change the total, each from the venue’s own page.

  • The Mason Dallas lists cleaning and trash at $350 and security at $450, and says a professional event planner is required.
  • 2616 Commerce Event Center lists security at $400, venue cleaning at $400 and linen cleaning at $10 per linen.
  • The Empire Room lists table linens at $27 each and lighting and audio-video from $750, and names Proof of the Pudding as its approved caterer.
  • Howell and Dragon and The Room on Main each print an exclusive caterer, so the guest food price is set by the venue’s choice, not yours.
  • Astoria Event Venue says linens are not included.

Three of the seven venues restrict you to a named or exclusive caterer. That matters for a gala, because food is the largest line the venue pages leave unpriced.

Which Venues Don’t Publish a Rate?

13 of the 20 pages print no rate: Hotel Crescent Court, The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas, Marriott Dallas Uptown, Fairmont Dallas, The Joule, Dallas Museum of Art, Omni Fort Worth Hotel, Hotel Drover, The Ashton Hotel, Omni Las Colinas Hotel, Hackberry Creek Country Club, AT&T Performing Arts Center and Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. We list them as Not published and leave them out of every band, chart and median. The hotels may quote a room on a call, and a museum or arboretum may price by event, so the absence of a number is a reason to ask, not a sign of a high price.

How Does Poppy Planning Work Inside a $50,000 Gala Budget?

Poppy Planning doesn’t publish prices, so none of the figures above include a Poppy fee, and we won’t put a number on one here. Our corporate page lists galas and fundraisers among its 12 kinds of event, and most programs start with The Premium Poppy Package, which covers the event end to end. Event design is an add-on you choose, so a host can keep the styling line at the size the budget allows.

Because The Mason Dallas requires a professional planner, a planner’s fee belongs in the budget for that room whoever you hire. For a comparison of Dallas planners and designers, including how they say they charge, see the corporate planner guide below. The contact form asks for your date, guest count and venue, and the team replies within 24 hours.

How Did We Build These Numbers?

We saved the text of each venue’s own page on its checked date, under data/public/venues, and copied every rate with the line it came from. A script recomputes every table, the chart and the figures in this text from those lines, and the build fails if a printed number differs from the result. A venue’s lowest and highest fee are the smallest and largest rate on its page. Where a page prints a rate by day, each day is its own rate.

A venue enters a guest band when its printed guest count is at or above the band. The median fee in a band is the median of each venue’s own median rate, rounded to the nearest dollar. The styling figure is Events D’Lux’s average of $100 per guest from its own page, read 2026-10-16; it is one firm’s average, not a market price. Fees are quoted as printed and may have changed since the checked date.

What Do People Ask About Dallas Gala Costs?

Which Dallas firms provide bespoke event styling for corporate galas under $50k?

Poppy Planning publishes that guide, so weigh our own placement with that in mind.
