How Much Does a Texas Wedding Venue Cost?
Published rental fees at 20 Texas venues, with the Hill Country price by month and by day of the week.
How much does a Texas wedding venue cost? Poppy Planning, a Dallas and Austin planning and design studio, read the rate pages of 20 Texas venues. The five Hill Country wedding venues that print a rental fee run from $3,500 to $15,500, and the seven Dallas and Irving rooms run from $2,995 to $20,000 for corporate galas. The other eight, including every Austin venue we read, print no rate.
What Do Texas Venues Charge by Region?
We read 20 venue pages and 12 print a rental fee. The table keeps the regions apart, because a Hill Country wedding venue and a Dallas corporate room are priced for different events. The Dallas and Irving rows are room rental for corporate galas, taken from our Dallas gala cost guide, and we don’t average them with the wedding rates.
| Region | Venues read | Print a fee | Lowest fee | Highest fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Texas Hill Country, wedding venue rental | 7 | 5 | $3,500 | $15,500 |
| Austin | 5 | 0 | Not published | Not published |
| Clifton | 1 | 0 | Not published | Not published |
| Dallas and Irving, room rental for corporate galas | 7 | 7 | $2,995 | $20,000 |
Camp Hideaway Fredericksburg and Camp Hideaway Gruene print the lowest Hill Country fee at $3,500, and Canyonwood Ridge prints the highest at $15,500. Across the five venues, the median lowest fee is $4,000 and the median highest fee is $11,500. The date moves the price a great deal at a single venue, which the next two sections show.
What Does Each Venue Print as Its Rate?
Each row below links to the page the figures came from, with the date we read it. A fee is the venue’s own rental charge. Deposits, extra hours and lodging packages are separate and appear further down.

How Much Does the Month Change a Hill Country Wedding Price?
Camp Hideaway runs two Hill Country venues, Fredericksburg and Gruene near New Braunfels, and prints the same two seasons at both. March, April, May, September, October and November are peak. January, February, June, July, August and December are off-peak. The table gives the Saturday fee for every month, for 2026 and 2027.
| Month | Season | Fredericksburg, 2026 | Gruene, 2026 | Fredericksburg, 2027 | Gruene, 2027 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| January | Off-peak | $8,500 | $9,500 | $9,000 | $10,000 |
| February | Off-peak | $8,500 | $9,500 | $9,000 | $10,000 |
| March | Peak | $11,500 | $11,500 | $12,000 | $12,000 |
| April | Peak | $11,500 | $11,500 | $12,000 | $12,000 |
| May | Peak | $11,500 | $11,500 | $12,000 | $12,000 |

| July | Off-peak | $8,500 | $9,500 | $9,000 | $10,000 |
| August | Off-peak | $8,500 | $9,500 | $9,000 | $10,000 |
| September | Peak | $11,500 | $11,500 | $12,000 | $12,000 |
| October | Peak | $11,500 | $11,500 | $12,000 | $12,000 |
| November | Peak | $11,500 | $11,500 | $12,000 | $12,000 |
| December | Off-peak | $8,500 | $9,500 | $9,000 | $10,000 |
A peak Saturday at Gruene costs $11,500 in 2026 and an off-peak Monday to Thursday costs $3,500, so the same venue spans 3.3 times between its cheapest and priciest date. For Saturdays alone, peak costs $3,000 more than off-peak at Fredericksburg and $2,000 more at Gruene.
Prices rise a year out. Across the 16 day prices at the two venues, the 2027 fee is 3 to 19 percent above 2026. The largest jump is Camp Hideaway Gruene on a peak Monday to Thursday, from $4,000 to $4,750.
How Much More Does a Saturday Cost Than a Weekday?
Three Hill Country venues print a fee for each day of the week. The table gives the 2026 fee by day, and the last column is what Saturday adds to the Monday to Thursday fee at the same venue and season.
| Venue | Season | Mon to Thu | Friday | Saturday | Sunday | Saturday adds | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Camp Hideaway Fredericksburg | Peak months | $4,000 | $8,500 | $11,500 | $6,500 | $7,500, 188 percent | October 17, 2026 |
| Camp Hideaway Fredericksburg | Off-peak months | $3,500 | $6,000 | $8,500 | $5,000 | $5,000, 143 percent | October 17, 2026 |
| Camp Hideaway Gruene | Peak months | $4,000 | $9,000 | $11,500 | $8,000 | $7,500, 188 percent | October 17, 2026 |
| Camp Hideaway Gruene | Off-peak months | $3,500 | $7,500 | $9,500 | $6,000 | $6,000, 171 percent | October 17, 2026 |
| Sendera Springs | All dates | $6,500 | $9,000 | $9,500 | $8,000 | $3,000, 46 percent | October 17, 2026 |
At Camp Hideaway a Saturday costs 143 to 188 percent more than a Monday to Thursday, or $5,000 to $7,500. Sendera Springs prints a smaller gap: $9,500 against $6,500, or 46 percent more. Sunday is the cheapest weekend day at all three venues, and Friday sits between Sunday and Saturday.
What Is Not in the Venue Rate?
The venue rate is the rental fee and nothing else. These are the other charges the venues print on their own pages.
- Hillside at Red Rock: $4,000 covers up to 50 guests, then $25 for each additional guest up to the 100-guest maximum. That makes $5,250 at 100 guests, or $52.50 a guest against $80.00 a guest at 50. It also prints a $500 security deposit and a single-day, six-hour option from $2,200.
- Camp Hideaway: 25 percent of the rental is due at booking, 25 percent nine months out and 50 percent six months out. The weekend package, which includes lodging, is $17,500 in peak months and $15,000 in off-peak months in 2026, and $18,500 and $16,000 in 2027.
- Sendera Springs: $1,500 to hold the date and a $1,000 security deposit.
- Canyonwood Ridge: a range from $5,000 to $15,500 with no day-of-week split, and the venue says it has no seasonal rates.
Only two of the 12 rated venues price by season. The rest print a flat range or a single schedule, so ask whether a quoted date falls in a higher tier before you compare two venues.
Which Austin and Hill Country Venues Print No Rate?
Eight of the 20 pages print no rental fee: Barr Mansion, The Driskill, SKYBOX on 6th, Star Hill Ranch and Assembly Hall in Austin, Triple Mountain Ranch in Clifton and Vista West Ranch and Memory Lane Ranch in Dripping Springs. We mark them Not published and leave them out of every range. Some print other charges, shown in the last column. A missing rate means you have to ask for a quote, and it tells you nothing about the price.

How Does a Planner’s Fee Fit Next to the Venue Rate?
A venue rate is what the venue charges for the space, so a planner’s fee is a separate line whoever you hire. Poppy Planning doesn’t publish prices, and none of the figures in this guide include a Poppy fee.
Poppy Planning’s packages list venue and vendor management once a venue is booked in all four packages: Social Butterfly, Party Animal, Everything Under the Sun and The Poppy Retainer. Venue and vendor sourcing is included in Everything Under the Sun and The Poppy Retainer and is custom in Party Animal. For a Hill Country date, the useful question for any planner is who confirms the season and day pricing above before a deposit goes down. Our Hill Country and Austin planning guides are linked below.
How Did We Build These Numbers?
We saved the text of each venue’s own page on its checked date, under data/public/venues, and copied every rate with the line it came from. A script recomputes every table and every figure in this text from those lines, and the check fails if one differs. A venue’s lowest and highest fee are the smallest and largest rate it prints. Hillside at Red Rock prints a base fee and a per-guest fee, so its highest figure is the base plus $25 for each guest from 51 to its 100-guest maximum.
Percentages round to the nearest whole number and the median is the middle value of the venue figures. Fees are quoted as printed and may have changed since the checked date. The Dallas and Irving rows come from the gala guide’s venue data and stay in their own region.
